This Eating Habit Contributes to a High Risk of Premature Death, New Study Finds

My immediate answer is YES, you are eating yourself to death! I hear you all screaming “Wait, I eat very healthy foods and only drink healthy juices. I don’t eat sweets, I just buy low-fat and low-carb products. I eat healthy, you don’t need to read the rest of this article!” WAIT UP! You are not eating as healthy as you think! Let me tell you why.

Never before in human history have we witnessed as many obesity, diseases, syndromes and other things as we do now. Is it all for the food? No, BUT, a HUGE part of it is, and if you please me for a little while, I will try to explain to you in an easy way why.

We live in a society of instant gratification and microwaves. If it wasn’t quick, easy and now, it was yesterday. But at what cost?

I could write a whole book about all the things they put in processed fast food, aka fast food, but I don’t want to kill you with all the scientific names and its effect on your body. . Instead, let me simplify this for you and say that if it is handled in any way, it is not good for you and most likely not good for you!

So what exactly is processed food, and why is it bad for you?

Is it in a box, sealed container, sealed bag or ready to use? If so, it is processed. That’s most of the food you buy at the grocery store! Take a look next time you go to the store and you’ll see that this is true.

Now see why that is so bad for you. In order for this food to last long, have the right color and not be contaminated with bad bacteria associated with long-term food storage, a long list of chemicals are added to this food. Many of these chemicals are known to have very serious negative effects on the human body.

Some of the side effects “like cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, numbness, burning sensation, tingling, pressure or tightness in the face, chest pain, headache, nausea, heart palpitations, drowsiness, weakness and shortness of breath in asthma .Now forget all the added “tricks”.

What about the nutritional value? Because of all the processing, there is little or no real nutrients left in any food! Not only that, BUT, the salt level is higher than what humans should consume!

What about all those healthy whole grains? Are they treated? YES. They contain more sugar than anything else! Your low blood sugar doesn’t know what to do with all the extra insulin it gets from any fast food or processed food!

So what is safe and healthy?

Anything fresh, unprocessed and preferably organic. Casual and simple! YES, that means the delicious cup of coffee you’re enjoying while reading this isn’t good for you!

Take a look at your grocery store. Most of the fresh, unprocessed food is found around the perimeter of the store, not in the aisles! It makes shopping so much easier!

“BUT, it took too long to prepare!” The most common complaint I hear! Well, if you plan it right, you can have all your fresh food ready in less time than buying all the fast food for the day! Read that! My wife and I prepare all of our meals, for the 2 of us and our 2 kids, in 30 minutes in the morning! All fresh, all healthy and all ready to eat for the rest of the day!

How much and how often should you eat? It is also very simple. Every 2.5-3 hours you should eat once. Before you start yelling at me for telling you to eat too much, you should also remember that these meals should be much smaller portions than your usual 3 meals a day. This would equate to about 6 meals a day.

What are you going to eat? Also pretty simple. Proteins, carbohydrates and lipids. YES, fat! You should eat lean meat, skinless chicken or fish for protein. If you are a vegetarian, there are many alternatives. For carbohydrates, you will have fruits and vegetables. For the fat, you would take fish, fish oil capsules or flax seed oil.
